Marketing Events & Printing

After a brand is established it comes time to market that brand to share that story. Making the public aware of a product or business is the purpose of any marketing piece. Over the years I have created an assortment of marketing for print or events.

College Handbook Cover

Each year a handbook is created to guide potential post-secondary students through through the process of going to college. I am a big fan of Seuss and wanted to borrow from his style.

Additionally the following year I coined the clients tag line they’d use in their branding. “Apply today. Change Tomorrow”.

This-es love Thats

Humans are receptive to propaganda marketing. And when you need to influence the population on concepts they need to see it in a friendly and safe medium. The idea that everyone deserves love and that same sex relationships are fine is one such message. I jumped at the chance to promote love.

Being a huge fan of Seuss, I wrote this story about same sex relationships in a way I thought anyone could understand. And simplified it all down to “There’s someone out there for each of us” Special nod to Alissa Robson of “Write your Heart out” for being my copy editor and getting this grammatically correct.

Facebook self promotion. Tasked with creating some self-promotional materials for this client this was another edgy post I developed. This ad had a number of users writing in, upset that the client would tattoo a baby. We had to assure them that it was an illustration.

Facebook self promotion. I was tasked with developing a social media post to promote college education. So I wrote the copy and passed it to the client who approved the concept. Then I created the finished design which ironically was shared so much it made it’s way back to the CEO from one of her friends, who shared it because it was funny.
