College Employer Council
Challenge
The College Employer Council required a new visual identity and website that reflected its role in supporting Ontario’s public colleges through shared services, labour relations, research, and sector collaboration.
The objective was to create a professional and credible public presence that clearly communicated the organization’s purpose while providing members and stakeholders with easy access to resources, news, and organizational information.
Approach
As the lead designer, I was responsible for both the visual identity and website design. Working within an established colour palette, I developed a logo inspired by interconnected chain links, symbolizing collaboration, partnership, and the relationships that connect Ontario’s public colleges.
The website was designed to present a large volume of organizational information in a clear and accessible manner while reinforcing the new brand throughout the user experience. Particular attention was given to information hierarchy, navigation, and creating a professional visual language appropriate for a sector-wide organization.
The project continued a growing relationship within Ontario’s post-secondary ecosystem, building upon previous successful work completed for Ontario Colleges and related organizations.
Outcome
The completed brand and website provided the College Employer Council with a unified and professional public presence that reflected its role within Ontario’s college sector. The identity established a recognizable visual foundation for the organization, while the website delivered a modern platform for communicating with member institutions and stakeholders.
The project further strengthened relationships within Ontario’s post-secondary community and demonstrated the value of consistent design leadership across multiple organizations serving the province’s public colleges.
